Marbella property falls in price, as pound strong versus euro. Purchasing in Marbella with pounds sterling, brilliant news if you intend to buy a property in Marbella! Whether you intend to buy beachside luxury villas, penthouses or apartments in Puerto Banus, or properties on the Golden Mile, it’ll now set you back a lot less.
Why? Well, because the pound to euro exchange rate has hit higher than 2 years ago, meaning you’ll get far more euros when you transfer money to Spain.
So for example, were you to transfer £2,500,000 to Spain to buy a luxury villa in Sierra Blanca, Marbella, you’d now receive €3,325,000, or +€325,000 more than if you’d made the same transfer back in January 2014. Hence, it goes without saying that this favourable exchange rate will go some way to helping you buy your ideal Marbella property, whatever you’ve got in mind!
After all, with an extra €325,000 in your Spanish bank account, you could pay off the legal costs and real estate fees associated with buying in Marbella. Alternatively, you could even buy a more luxurious property than you’d initially had in mind, with an extra bedroom or a view of the beach, for instance. Equally, you could decorate your new Marbella property as you please with the euros too!
Given all this then, it’s the ideal time to buy a Marbella property, thanks to the favourable exchange rate.
